Iceland Super Jeep Day Tour – Silver Circle

After pick-up from your accommodation in Reykjavík, you will drive towards Hvalfjörður fjord and visit Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring. It provides 180 l/sec of 100°C hot water with a lot of steam surrounded by very colorful rock formations.

Your next stop is by the beautiful Hraunfossar (Lava Falls) and Barnafoss (Children’s fall). According to a legend, Barnafoss takes its name from two children who fell into the waterfall. The water flows from the nearby glacier Langjökull, which is visible from this point and has such vibrant colors.

After a lunch break at Húsafell woodlands (lunch is not included), you will venture off the main road and head up to Langjökull, Iceland’s second-largest ice cap, on an adventurous highland trail with endless ice around you.

For an even more thrilling experience, you can add an entry to the ‘Into The Glacier’ ice tunnels (optional). To experience the magnificent glacier landscape from the inside is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

On the way back to Reykjavík you will drive over the highest mountain road in Iceland, Kaldidalur (cold valley), which will then lead you down to the historical Þingvellir National Park.
